New Student Orientation - Friday August 21, 2009

Dear New Parents,

On Friday, August 21, 2009, there will be an opportunity for new students and parents to drop in and visit their classrooms and meet their new teacher (s). It is strongly recommended and encouraged for students and parents join in this event. Orientation prepares our new students for the first day of school so they can approach their new school experience with more confidence, knowing where the classroom is and who their teachers will be.

Immediately following the classroom visits, Primary Parents can also discuss any questions they may have with the Business Office. Final arrangements regarding bus transportation can also be completed.

Secondary Parents are not required to attend the tour of the campus or classroom visits. Therefore, they can finalize transportation and Business Office matters while their children are attending the Secondary student orientation.

Preschool Parents will be given appointments for their own Orientation, which will take place the week of 24 August.

Primary:
Marmara campus 
13:30 - 13:40 Meet in entrance lobby
13:40 - 14:30 Go to classrooms
14:30 - 14:45 Coffee in Lobby. Meet with Business Office and/or Transport coordinators

Secondary:
13:30 - 13:50 Meet with Secondary Principal and Dean of Students
13:50 - 14:20 Meet with IBDP, IBMYP Coordinators and Activities/Athletics Director
14:20 - 14:45 Tour with Homeroom

Primary:
Hisar campus                      
13:30 - 13:40 Meet in garden
13:40 - 14:30 Go to classrooms
14:30 - 14:45 Coffee in Garden. Meet with Business Office and/or transport coordinators
